Sensory Tools
Sensory Chew Necklace
Firm, long lasting option for avid chewers and those with sensory needs.
Feeding Tools
Formula/Breastmilk Bottle
My daughter did very well with this bottle when we transitioned from nursing to bottle feeding. This comes in 5 and 8 oz bottles. The link below is for the 5 oz bottle. The standard nipple that is comes with is a "slow flow" (0-3 months), however, you can purchase other size nipples separately (medium flow 3+ months and fast flow 6+ months). You may find that your baby does well with a slow or medium flow at 6+ months, so don't worry too much about changing the nipple size based on the age (do whichever flow you feel is right!). Remember, every baby is different, so if your baby doesn't do well with this bottle, you can always opt for another that they may do better with!
Muslin Burp Cloths
Multifunctional- can be used as "burp rags, baby bibs, baby washcloths and towels, baby wipes or cloth diapers." Great for burping, teething, or spitting up. Comes in various colors.
Washable Nursing Pads
Comfy nursing pads. I prefer these over the disposable ones. I found that the disposable ones would sometimes stick to the breast once the milk dried up.
Organic Nipple Butter
Used to soothe and moisturize dry skin. Ideal for sore, cracked breastfeeding nipples. "Made without petroleum, preservatives, or lanolin, Earth Mama's breast feeding calendula cream is non-GMO Project Verified, which means there no need to wash or wipe it off before nursing your baby."
Pre-Feeding Tools
Pre-feeding tools to practice babies feeding, munching, biting and chewing skills. Can be dipped in breastmilk/formula or any other liquid/puree of your babies liking!
Tiny Bowl
For babies 6+ months. Silicone suction placemat + bowl. Varies colors available, as well as varies sizes for when babies grow. My daughter is over a year and still prefers this bowl over the larger ones.
Silicone Plates with Lids
Baby/Toddler silicone with lids. Perfect for packing food to go or saving food!
Training Cup with Straw Lid
One of my favorite training cups! You can take off the straw lid and it can also function as an open up. Helps infant/toddler learn to drink from a straw/open cup. Various colors and larger size available.
Spill Proof Straw Cup
GROSMIMI spill proof straw cup for babies/toddlers. Various colors and larger size available. My daughter transitioned to this cup from a bottle fairly smoothly and it is one of my (and her) favorite straw cups!
THERMOS "Funtainer"
This straw container is perfect for on the go! It is another favorite of mine (and my daughter's). It comes in various colors. Liquids inside stay cold for "up to 12 hours"- so perfect for a hot day!
6+ mos Spoon
"Each set comes with a pre-spoon perfect for purees, doubling as a teether for sore gums, along with an open-channel spoon designed to grip soft solids. These spoons help teach the skills and motions needed to graduate to a traditional spoon, without requiring wrist rotation to use - a skill children typically don’t develop until 2 years old." Various colors available.
Short Handle Spoon
One of my favorite spoons! I love that the handle is short- easier for babies to hold while beginning to learn how to eat and self-feed.
Toddler Fork & Spoon
Ideal for ages 12+ months. This is the current set my toddler is using and doing very well with!
Learning Stool
Ideal for 18+ months. Learning stools serve many purposes, and with so many options on the market, you can easily find one that suits your needs! My little one loves standing on it to help me with meal prep, and it’s also her go-to spot for arts and crafts activities.
Cast Iron Skillet
Recent studies have shown iron levels have increased by up to 16% when cooking in cast iron. Using a cast iron skillet to cook can be used as a strategy for reduction of iron deficiency anemia. However, more research is required to understand the efficacy of this approach.
Bath Time Essentials
Baby Bath Support
Ideal for babies less than 6+ months old, however, I definitely used it longer with my daughter. Absolutely loved this tub. It is small and hangs easily in the shower.
Baby Bath Sponge
I love this bath sponge/cradle cap brush duo! Even if your little one does not have cradle cap, the bristles are nice and soft to brush your little ones hair during bath time.
Not Feeling Well Supplies
Maty's Baby Chest Rub
Soothing congestion relief vapor rub for little ones. I love this one so much, that I sometimes use it for myself too!
Snot Sucker
This manual snot sucker has worked the best for me (even better than the electronic ones). My daughter does not like when I use this, however, it does the job and does it well! I haven't tried a nasal rinse yet, so that is definitely next on my list for when my little one is sick!
Boogie Remover
I love this little tool for removing boogies. It says it also removes earwax, however, I am funny about putting objects in ears, so I do not use it for that purpose. One side is for dry boogies and the other side is for sticky boogies. The bear on both sides acts as a stopper so that you do not go too deep into the nose.
Rectal Thermometer
Rectal thermometers are generally considered the most accurate tool for measuring body temperature, especially in infants and young children. It has a rectal stopper, so that the tip is not inserted too far into a little ones rectum.
Hand Wipes
These hand wipes have a gentle formula. They are alcohol-free, hypoallergenic and made with aloe to moisturize the skin, without parabens, sulfates and phthalates. Perfect wipes for on the go when water and soap are not available. Wipes away dirt, messes and bacteria.
Beauty/Care Essentials
Baby/Toddler Nail Trimmer
This nail trimmer comes with 4 cushioned sandpaper file attachments designed for baby nails, as well as 2 attachments for adult nails. It also includes extra attachments for convenience. Filing my daughter’s nails was easier when she was a baby, but now that she’s older, she’s less willing to let me do it. I’ve found that counting to 10 seconds per nail out loud helps, as it lets her know when I’m finished.
Spray Bottle
I love this spray bottle for my little ones hair. I fill it up with water and then spray her hair before styling it.
Baby/Toddler Toothbrush Set
One of the best toothbrush sets for babies/toddlers. There are various animals you can choose from. I choose a different animal every 3 months or when I feel the bristles are worn out. The toothpaste "safely and effectively cleans with no fluoride, artificial flavors, or colors." The giraffe and flamingo are my favorites. You can also ask your little one which animal they choose, to make them feel part of the process.
Baby/Toddler Carrier
Tushbaby- Hip Seat Baby/Toddler Carrier
One of my favorite baby/toddler carriers, especially since I suffer from back pain due to my scoliosis (I like that it is chiropractor approved). Made for a newborn up to 3 years old (or 44lbs). Has multiple storage pockets, a separate attachment that you can purchase, and comes in various colors.
BabyBjörn Carrier
My hubby loves this carrier. He feels the tushbaby is too feminine for his liking, so he prefers to wear this one while carrying our daughter. Comes in various colors. Supportive and comfortable option!
Healthy Snacks
Amara Organic Smoothie Melts
Providing my little one with healthy snacks is important to me. These are "bobby approved," so they passed the safe ingredient list. The smoothie melts come in different flavors, with mango being our favorite- Organic Mango, Organic Coconut Milk, Organic Carrot, Organic Lemon Juice.
Screen Free Options
Tonibox
Screen-free listening experience that is great for bedtime stories, music, and education. It says for 3+ years, however, my 1 year old daughter absolutely loves it! It comes in various colors. Many of the Toni characters will need to be purchased separately.
Please note* This product is one of the Amazon Associates Program Excluded Products and therefore you will have to search for it on the Amazon search bar.
Sticker Book
My favorite sticker book! There are so many scenes and stickers per each book. Various categories available. This is perfect for traveling or when out to dinner. We use it at home too. So fun and great for language development.
Foil Art
Super cute art activity! The animal foil art is great for learning different animal names, categories (farm animals, sea animals, jungle animals), colors, prepositions (the elephant is next to the giraffe...), following directions (pull, press,, put on...) and more!
